I finished my Bachelor of Business at this school and found it to be challenging and rewarding. Their student support staff was helpful and they provide many online tools when you’re stuck.
Some of my classes had many students, some did not – the more students made for better weekly discussions. The papers I submitted were graded on a “report” style which made it easy to know which areas needed attention. I had some good professors that worked with me in the courses that built off each module.
I enjoyed my time at AAU – now they need nice sweatshirts for alumni!
They recently started hosting yearly graduations – It was a very nice ceremony
This college is what you make of it. I will graduate with an AA in General Studies this month. I spent an average of 15-20 hours each week on my course work and maintained a 4.0 average. I had help when I asked for it, and received feedback on every assignment that I turned in. It was pretty obvious to me that many of my classmates were not as interested in the topics and put out much less effort. I think this is fairly representative of the low graduation rates posted on their website. The retention rates are getting better and the staff have put in more additions to their online structure over the past two years that I have been enrolled. If you have the drive to study on your own and expand your knowledge, with a little push here and there when needed, this is a good fit for you.
This school is bad news. The staff lies and does not care about students.Run away from this college
