9 Student Reviews of European School of Economics : Madrid

  • Well, everything negative what I’ve read about the school in terms of administration is more or less true. Madrid campus director is unhelpful and/ or unwilling to revise and change the way they operate. It is critical that they must respect their teachers and students. So, there is a HUGE space for improvement.

As for the education quality (Master course), I must say it is very high. Their professors are professionals and extremely helpful. It is a shame that they don’t get paid on time.

A big thank you to all professors for their dedication and professionalism. The knowledge I acquired during my course, helped me find a great job.

  • i literally had to go to a lawyer and threaten to sue the school in order to get the money back for a course i PAID and signed up for and they NEVER provided. They tried to pushed it off saying it would open the next semester. yeah right. really DONT waste or time or money.

  • “Olé” for the students below who have over the years dared to write the truth about the European School of Economics. It’s not easy, no one wants to discredit the education they hold on their CV.
I find it quite impossible that the “student” in this last post had a good experience at ESE Madrid. No one can be in that place for two years and not realize that professors and staff are constantly changed (when they find out they are not going to get paid). I worked at the school when it was located in C/ Velázquez. They declared themselves bankrupt in the summer of 2014 but then continued under a new company name in C/ Serrano.
They owed money to professors over the last 4 years, social security, taxes, rent and all other kinds of suppliers. The students’ money simply enters in a huge network of companies that the people behind the school owe in Italy and England and is moved around as they close and open companies.
Professors and staff do what they can, until they realize that they are merely actors that make this whole scam look like a school.

  • THe European School is not a School. It’s a total mess, while the founders (the brothers, Stefano and Elio) are arguing with different lawsuits in several countries to make clear who is the author and owner of the the School’s manifesto, the book The School for Gods. Both show up with news and TV interviews stating they are the authors of the same book.

Cash flow problems, wrong investments, insufficient Staff make the rest at the European School of Economics.

    Good luck students.

  • Is this a business school?

So why they don’t pay their employees..????

Maybe because this is the European School of ECONOMICS????

Would you trust a school that’s not even able to pay its employees?

Can you imagine what about their students?

The best ones complain while the worst one pay.

  • When do students of ESE´s master programs receive their diplomas? is it true that students have to wait for more than one year to get the transcripts and over two years to get the diploma?

copy and paste this link…it’s an article published on Corriere della Sera”, the most important italian newspaper….if you know someone who can speek italian, ask him to transalte this article for you…..They are thieves

  • They only want to steal your money…look guys, I am from Italy and unfortunatly I have to admit that many Italian people are the best in frauding. This school is an Italian foundation of private law, that in Italy is still on trial for fraud and swindle, and fiscal evasion. Many students after havig paid a lot of money realized that the “degree” issued by this school didn’t have any value….If you search on Italian Education minister, you will realize that the school does’t appear in the Italian Universities.
If you take a Bachelor there, you spend aroun 45000 euros, there won’t be enterprise available to hire you or universities to admit you for a master’s degree because the the paper that you take there is only a paper…furthermore year by year the rise the tuition fees, and so you will have to pay more and more in order to reamin there…don’t let’em to swindle you…they promise you fantastic placements (airfrance, Jp morgan etc), but at the end they will find for you, treineeships or internships in very small enterprises with 10-15 employess that will accept you only because the School send them people that work there for free every year…They charge you for everything: if you fail an exam you will have to pay 300 euros in order to try to pass it another time…the second time you fail an exam you pay 1000 euros…in their liberies there are not books…and the programs are usless in order to be able to work in finance or management…for example the admit people with a wide range of backgrounds…so if you have sudied business or economics at undergaduate level, you will take a master with people that have studies literature or laguages…and so the programs are very basic…Look, if you have mobey to attend a Master, don’t go there!!!STAY AWAY GUYS!

  • I did not like the school. The administration is not empathic, does not listen to students when we had complaints, does not respect the professors (huge turnover… apparently they pay them very late?). Stay away from this school. For the same money, you can have a much better education.
