One Student Review of Los Angeles City College

  • I had started my beautiful college life on the famous college Los Angeles City College in 2008. I had been chosen my favorite subject Computer Science and now I am working on a Computer and Technology Institute on Los Angeles. All the respects go to the Los Angeles City College. It has a large campus area of approx 50 acres situated in Westwood. In our time the college was most famous all over Los Angeles. It has many different subjects according to many different choice students like Computer Science, Computer Technology, Human Service, Nursing, Dental Service, Cinema, Production, Graphics, Entertainment, Accounting, Advertising and lots of more subject. I gave admission test on the college in 5th January, 2008. I had been passed in the exam and given me my favorite subject Computer Science. They took first 300 students for Computer Science and I was one of those. In our college first class the president of the college Steve Veres welcomed us all. All we enjoyed our college first class. I grew many friends there as they were so helpful. I also had there some friends known before. The college rules were so hard that everybody must follow them. There were also many games available like Basketball, Football etc. I loved to play Basketball and I had played for the basketball team of our college for 5 months. There, I got an injury and stopped playing basketball. All together the college were so nice as It is now. There were also available Laboratory, Library, Computer Club, Science Club, Sports Club and more. I was a big fan of reading books. When I got time I went to the library and read some books. In the final exam of 1st year, I didn’t make a good result. Then, after that, I tried to read hard and soul and next time, I became success and a merit student of the year. I had learned a lot from there. One of my favorite Computer Science Lecturer was Roger Wolf. I don’t know If he is now in the college. But in our time, He was my best teacher and an idle of mine. He helped me so much when reading there. There he gave me an advice that, ” Never Give Up “. I respect his advice to now. But there were also a teacher called Jayesh Bhakta whom I dislike most. I couldn’t find any day where I didn’t get his punishment. When our third year running there been a great trouble. One of our laboratory got fired. It was so terrible that our one teacher got harm there. All together, Our Los Angeles City College was best in both result and cultural things. We got our degrees of our batch after 4 year course. Now all of our batch have gotten good works. There are in many well positions. Thus, the college is best for reading basically who wants to pass her college life very happily. So, I recommended all the junior students of Los Angeles to read in the Los Angeles City College as I is one of the best college of Los Angeles.
