@OP it’s not an acronym, it’s just an abbreviation for CollegeTimes that we thought was kinda nifty. Because on some websites like Twitter they used to limit the characters of your username a lot, and we acquired the @cotms at one point and used it for a few things! Probably we aren’t going to use it too much in the future, but it’s mostly just for fun.

Also for logos, “CollegeTimes” is a little big long…
