I Am an Unbeliever

I am a secular Jew. I do not necessarily believe in a God or Allah but think there may be something up there. I am not religious myself but believe all religions should be treated equally. I don’t agree with religious ideology but I respect people’s right to express it. I believe all people should be treated equally, even women. I believe women have the right to dress however they want and should not hide herself from the world in a burka.

I am a kafir.

I believe in Western values. I believe in freedom of religion, freedom of press, freedom of speech. I believe in freedom of expression. I believe in the freedom to criticize. I may not like it when people criticize what I love but I respect their right to. I do not believe in oppression or coercion in the name of anything.

I am a kafir.

I will not commit suicide merely to kill a few innocents who disagree with me. I will not martyr myself merely for divine sex. I love the progression of science and the expansion of the human mind. I believe we as a human race are meant to utilize our brains that make us so unique to their fullest extent.

I believe in the mantra “Live and let live”. I am straight and have no problem with homosexuality. I am male and have no problem with women making something of themselves. I am my own man and have no problem if people don’t agree with me. I recognize there may be people who disagree with me but will not go out of my way to harm them.

I love my family and would never, ever hurt them. Not even if they dishonored the family name. I believe my daughter has the right to marry whoever she wants, not whoever I want. I do not believe in pedophelia. I do not believe in beating my wife for any reason whatsoever. I do not believe in beating or stoning a woman for being raped. I do not believe in killing someone for not believing what I believe.

I am a kafir.

I do not believe that killing innocents works towards peace. I do not believe any violence works towards peace. I believe that if a person wants peace, he must first learn to tolerate.

I am a kafir.

I love life. I love my fellow man. And I love being who I want to be. Most important of all, I love being a kafir. I love being an unbeliever. I will not kill for or submit to the oppressive ideology that is Islamic fundamentalism, and neither should you.
