3 Student Reviews of California Lutheran University

  • Cal Lutheran is a great school, with a beautiful campus, passionate instructors and small class sizes.

    Overall Score: (4.45/5.00)
  • Expensive, poor staff and faculty, disappointed, did I mention EXPENSIVE! (not worthwhile)
I went to this school for the Multimedia problem which I immediately regret. Not only is the Multimedia department poor, the college services are horrible. Every semester I’d have a “problem” with either Res Life, the Business Office, or the registrar. And when I say “problem”, I mean that they (always) had a clerical error and would overcharge me for one thing or another.

I could go on for paragraphs and paragraphs about why not to attend this school (mainly the massive amount of money my parents mis-invested in this school) but save yourself time and money and don’t attend here. If I could do it over again, I would go to a more credible school, not the best school money can buy.

    Some Pros:
-Decent extracurricular activities (but what college doesn’t have that)
-Area is nice, safe (again most campuses are)
    -Business Dept. is highly rated

    Overall Score: (2.63/5.00)
  • Expensive school. Some really cool people. Not a party school, but a decent drive too a lot of fun areas. (l.a,s.b,pasadena,usc,ucla)

    Overall Score: (3.36/5.00)
