The CDI College MOA program appears to offer a reasonable education. The problems are:
1. Many students don’t possess enough English to understand what they are being taught. Unfortunately, CDI College accepts these students.
2. The number of students enrolled far exceeds the market demand for individuals with the MOA education.
3. Students with enough English to understand what they are being taught don’t realize they need more English to be hired and even more English to succeed in the position once they are hired. This situation sets quite a few MOA students up for failure.
If you are determined to pursue a career as an MOA, make sure that you:
1. Have enough English to understand what you are being taught, to be hired and to succeed in the position.
2. Spend a day in a medical clinic observing to make sure the MOA work is what you want.
3. Have a personal budget that demonstrates that you can pay back the student loan you are incurring.
4. Are good-looking. The MOA is the face of all medical clinics. The owners seek out good-looking people for this highly visible position.
RUN AWAY. Peter Chung is a scam artist. Schools are going broke, they will be another Everest College very soon. Do not give him your money.
Run far away from CDI. They only want your money. The staff is good, but the company itself is greedy beyond words.
Stay away from here, the director is a horrible person who will sit you long enough to get 100% of your fees before she turns her back on you.
I went here for a year, it’s not the greatest school but it helped me get a job. This is important as I could not get into NAIT or GM. Anyone who joins this program who can get in to a better school is wasting their time.
