This is a very scary place. Latasha Shemwell and all of the other counselors will show you impressive charts about your median income after graduation, etc. DO NOT TAKE THE BAIT! All this place will do is completely ruin your chances of ever getting out of debt again. it isn’t accredited. The supposed accreditation they advertise is private, not recognized by any other reputable college for transfer, and until recently was chaired by good ole founder of daymar college himself, Mark Gabis! You are not allowed to take your financial aid and purchase your books and supplies elsewhere, you must purchase them from the bookstore (a little closet in the student lounge area) if you want to use your financial aid. From my “graduating” class, I can truthfully mention only three people who are practicing massage therapists, only two of whom are actually gainfully employed. One teacher confessed to us in class one night that as a therapist working for a chiropractor she only made 200 a week. That was a far cry from what those flashy median income charts showed! The class structure and curriculum changed weekly, sometimes we didn’t even have a classroom to meet in. one instructor was a defunct chiropractor who was stripped of his license we found out later on and had a drinking problem (we figured that’s probably why he lost his license and ended up there). One teacher continuously hit on female students and we found out later that he was involved in a sex scandal with a female student. This place is a nightmare! I had two older ladies in my class who were on disability for various physical ailments, mind you, this was for the very physical job of massage therapy. No reputable college would have taken their money knowing full well they couldn’t complete the course. Do not go here. if you don’t take my word for it, look into the pending lawsuits in Kentucky and Tennessee. *Excuse the spelling and grammar mistakes, posting on my phone.

  • Nursing Rip Off Big Time says:

Daymar DOES NOT have the accreditation credentials needed for the nursing degree!!! They charge much more and will not equip us to get the career we all want. Find a real school now that is not this rinky-dink fraud of a college.
