END. OF. STORY
and was supposed to get back an even larger portion of my aid. And instead was cut by almost half..How is that?
There are currently 5 lawsuits against this school for mismanagement of funds and failure to deliver the education they promise. The way that they handle the funds is very sketchy. When I quit, I was sent a letter from the school with the vice presidents name typed on the bottom stating that the federal loans agency was contacting them telling them I was having trouble paying my loans and trying to sell me some school loan program EBI runs, and when I called the federal loan agency, the worker there told me that there was no way because somehow I was still listed as attending school and didn’t even have a due bill yet and this was more than a month after they supposable were supposed to send the money back, and I found out that they changed the graduation date to June (when it was originally February) instead of listing it as a withdrawel. I later found out that they earn interest on the student money the longer they can keep it in their account. I was fit to be tied about this fraudulant letter trying to get me into their outside loan program and getting me upset thinking I was missing bills or something at home.
The only committee at this school is the leadership committee which would be wonderful except for the fact that the leadership committee has difficulty planning some things because many things are disapproved by administration that is more worried about greed and money and the “appearance” of the school to the public than they actually are about the wants, needs, and concerns of their students. LIke forums for the students being turned down without being edited because they are concerned about what the large portion of students that feel ripped off and unhappy voicing their opinions would say.
You might get a degree here, but learning the essential knowledge necessary to work a position of employment efficiently is not guaranteed. There was a good medical teacher there, and she is no longer there. I would not recommend this school to anyone.
I recommend spending the extra year or half a year and getting an associates degree at another local college that is better qualified and delivers what it promises because EBI is one BIG ripoff.
