  This is by far the worst university I have ever attended. There is an extreme amount of racial tension displayed towards the minority students at the university and, many of the professors somewhat promote this behavior by emphasizing specific subject that invokes student hostility in the classroom which promotes a hostile learning environment. Whether it is intentional or not I am not sure but, this type of environment does not promote learning and to be honest at times I felt discriminated against because I was white. The level of education taught at this university is substandard and the staff treat you as if you are a bother when seeking information concerning registration and financial aid as well. Although the university is affordable and has a few new facilities, the majority of the buildings are run down. Finally, Fayetteville State University is located in a somewhat crime ridden location and has had crime from the surrounding neighborhoods flow onto campus and a person’s overall safety while on campus is very debatable. STAY AWAY FROM THIS UNIVERSITY!!!
