Being from the same region, IUM was for me the first choice to study as I did not wanted to leave Monaco. Overall, I have to say my experience at IUM was good, for sure there are some aspects which are subject to improvement (e.g. career services, extracurricular options, guest lectures). Academic wise the university is solid, with good options after (many from my cohort went for their Master after to universities like Bocconi, LSE, LBS etc.).
I had the opportunity to attend IUM during my undergraduate degree. In the following I want to present you the pro´s and con´s:
+ Small university with a really good professor / student ratio
+ High quality professors (many of the arrived from really reputable universities or are as well teaching in other such institutions as for example EDHEC)
+ Very international, students are coming from all over the world, with a focus on French and Italians
– Career service could do better
– Housing is in and around Monaco really expensive, more affordable to live in Nice
Overall I can recommend the university. For sure there are some factors for improvements but as a whole it was a good experience for me and I could learn a lot and make many friends. Many of my cohort went after IUM for the graduate degree at universities such as ESADE, LSE, LBS etc.
Decent university. Courses in undergraduate are good but career services rather poor. University is currently working heavily on their reputation further accreditations (AACSB).
Not worth your time and money, poor quality, zero career placement, no new knowledge. Marketing courses are still on the level of the beginning of 2000s. Their diploma hardly has any value for serious employees.
fraudulent job offers forwarded to students and poor academic environment. an example? here http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2596C47DB9EA3B08
