One of the worst colleges I have been too. I have a 3.95 GPA already graduated from a different college. ADVICE: every college is a business this one up sells itself a lot! I left mid way through because half my class was failing and I was not learning a thing but how to manipulate the NCLEX. That one class had 3 professors who clearly did not organize their lectures or communicate with one another.
Very underdeveloped and disorganized. Please do your research and remember this is a private school so they get away with a lot more. The only tutors I had while there were test taker ones who knew nothing about nursing or science.

Laboure claims that they have a 2+2 program but do not believe their website. There is no way you can get your associates in 2 years, the nursing classes alone take two years and you need to complete prerequisites. They also claim they have a “trimester” system but they only offer one of each nursing class in the summer and about 4-5 in the fall and spring…sooo you do the math. 4-5 classes squeezing into 1 doesn’t work. There were about 14 students on the waitlist for Nursing 1, (a 23 person class) but they didn’t open up a new class, and there were many students who didn’t join the waitlist because it was already so full. Not worth it, go to a community college that is more honest and transparent.
This school will do anything to get your money. Transferred in from another college and never experienced problems like this. You would think with the school being so small they’d treat each student respectfully and compassionately but that’s not the case. Your voice is not heard- they just don’t care.
This college takes your money and do not care if you fail it is so expensive they only care about the money you are own your own my advice is to do not attend !!!
You have to be an idiot to attend this school
I attended in 2005 as an older student in EEG program. The director of the program did not like me and had me dismissed not only from the program but from the school after 14 months of a 20 month program. I am now in debt over $ 10,000.00 with nothing to show for my efforts or expenditure. This was the worse educational experience I have ever experienced. I sued the school but lost. That does not mean I was in the wrong. Do not enroll in their EEG program if Professor Jean Farley is still in charge, you will regret your decision.
Registar staff sucks, very rude. Women kicked me out before I even had a chance to ask her my question. Dean is responsible for awarding transfer credits and it took 4 months for their office to get back with me after going back and fourth over the decision. Nancy with student advising is so sweet and very much an advocate for her students. Maureen in the student activites office and the buisness office lady are both very helpful. School has a lack of updated working equipment which is odd considering how expensive tuition can be. The small library needs expanding as well as new/working and MORE computers. Parking is a very big hassel if you have class any time before 3:15p (which is when you are allowed to use Carney’s parking lot). Overall as a transfer studnet I find the work load pretty easy and light ( I also work full time). Haven’t had a problem with any of the teachers yet, they all seem to be pretty fair and helpful. Most problems encountered are with the unhelpful registrars office as well as the fact that not everyone is on the same page.
