I would NEVER recommend anyone to go to this school for culinary and health programs. Teachers are full of themselves and don’t even follow their own policies. It is a disgrace to graduate from a school that has no morals and values. If it was not for a small city, it would have gone out of business by now.

The faculty of this college does not knows how to deal with the international students .They never compromise with their situations .They speak too rude and does not listen to the students and also not listen to them for any help. They are so greedy kind of people . I was also the student at loyalist but what they did with 3 friends for the fees has been never seen by me earlier done by either college in Canada. Even the staff members are not good . Dean of the college is never present in the college or the office at the time of school hours then how can he deal with the problems faced by the students. so I request all the international students not to take admission in this type of college where you get to face a lot of problems and nobody listens to you as well. they arise false hopes in mind of students and never them fulfill .They never allow international students to take active part in the indoor and outdoor games also

I thought TVNM was a decent program. Everyone in the program was very easy-going, productive, educative, and well-prepared for what they wanted to do. 1st year taught us the basics of everything from writing, camera, and post. 2nd year kept us prepared for documentaries, commercials, and cooking shows. 3rd was a great opportunity for us to look into our future careers and internships. If it weren’t for the Film and TV program at Loyalist College, I wouldn’t have made it in the field.

    Regards,
    Ilias

Before coming here, Loyalist College seemed very promising, affordable and well-deserved. However, it’s known for its budget cuts, lacking curriculum improvement, constant technical issues, and unreliability expectations. It’s a disappointing that school isn’t offering enough from what they used to provide from the last 50 years ago.

If you are looking for science programs, do not look at this college

The school is a joke that forgot it’s own punchline. Computer classes that don’t have enough computers for the number of students. Outdated tech. Joke level courses. It’s like the last season of community and makes you wonder why it’s still here

  • Claude Garipy says:

I would never recommend anyone to go to the Film & TV Production program (TVNM). It’s good the first year, but in second and third, you will end up working with difficult, unfriendly, biased and uncooperative students and professors who judge you by your skills and appearance. However, you will be qualified for a career in film/tv.

I feel there’s been a lot of bullying and harassment at our school, and it needs to stop!

  • Simon Sheehan says:

Don’t go to loyalist college tvnm. It’s not worth 4,000

It’s not a good, but not a bad place. Be careful who you trust and always make sure you have a close friend from Belleville, or a friend you know from mutual relations (friends, family, etc.)

And yes, do NOT go into their film and tv program.

P.S. I give credit to the TVNM person.

TVNM is the most difficult, uncooperative program in Ontario. I just want to get a better understanding from Claude Gariepy, Eric Howard, and all the rest. But they are constantly disrespecting me during production and classes, and I feel that their attitude towards students and other faculties is disgraceful! Some of these Profs need to retire or find a new job, so they can stop wasn’t our money and time full of narcissistic behaviors. I’ve had enough!

An outdated provincial college that’s just wasting tax dollars on retired “professionals” to mock up course outlines that are inadequate to todays workforce standards. Buildings are outdated and most classrooms are in need of repair. Some serious course updates and auditing of college faculty is desperately needed. Residences are oddly placed and give off the feeling that one would expect from a prison cell rather than a place to live and study.
