  This school used to be so… much better over 30 years ago when I was here and graduated. My son just graduated from here. For the last five years I’ve been coming here at least 4 times each year. I am so disappointed how bad everything about this school has become. Over-priced in proportion to provisions. Equipment is antiquated and inadequate throughout. The environment has gone total social indoctrination and void of analysis, reasoning and actual human development. Phys Ed. gone, now “health and wellness” with convenient total NON-physical substitutes for the most unfit and irresponsible. Physics gone. However, the pathetic and totally ill-defined “organizational leadership” MASTERS DEGREE remains. Can’t be more stupid. The cafeteria management is awful but, the food is much worse. This cafeteria closes one to two days early before move-out time every semester sticking the students to fend for themselves while trying to finish finals and the semester. They just built an absolutely horrid art and communications building. Stupid design. Floors cracking the first semester of use (for real). Rooms seriously inadequate. Terrible external appearance. Many classes are now locked up to specific majors as a stupid self-serving means to give essential raises to professors in economic hard times with budget cuts. This of course, irresponsibly cuts the educational VERSATILITY of the university education. This is the opposite of “good” higher education. Now, “FORCING” students to live in newly built, currently private dorms at over $1200 MORE a SEMESTER as a deal to later acquire the properties. Everything administrative incompetent, self-serving and manipulative. NO actual comprehension of or responsibility for the students or the function of education. The local as well as the trustees and state administrators are all ignorant and incompetent. I’m sure ALL 14 of the state schools suffer the same. Shame on PA. Shame on Mansfield University.
