5 Student Reviews of Remington College : Fort Worth

  • Unorganized, immature staff, career services do not help you in the least bit, and after you sign your contract with them they couldn’t care less what happens with your education or job placement! Pathetic excuse of a college! I am astonished that this school is accredited by anyone, it seems like a scam! I agree with the other students saying to go elsewhere for your education! This school is ghetto and very unprofessional!

  • DO NOT attend this school! The unprofessionalism is amazing!!! I can’t believe that this school is accredited by anyone!!! Its amazing how unorganized this school is too!!! I regret going to this school and would not recommend it to anyone! Also, at the beginning they give you websites showing what you will make after school- but, when school is almost over the teachers tell you that your probably going to make about 11-12 dollars an hour! That isn’t good money in my opinion! And the externship program is a joke! The locations don’t teach you anything, they just use the students for free labor. The equipment they use isn’t even up to date. Seriously, save yourself the headache and go somewhere else!

  • This school is horrible they need to teach the students what they need to know for the jobs their trying to get not just a bunch of s**t that don’t even matter. These students pay a lot of money when the teachers don’t help them they push them along with the rest of the class

  • Im a Graphic Design student and Today is my last day of classes….(well it would be if not for a racist socialist teacher causing me to walk out on my speech class and the admin not doing anything about it) and the course director just informed us that we wont be having our portfolio show so the fat medical people can have an eating party. This has been my experience the whole 2 years I have been attending this school. I have been shown that the programs with more students (= more incoming money for the school) are favored and treated better. I have had many problems with professionalism at this school and its just pathetic. I decided to attend here to get a more personalized education and I have to say my art teachers are very good, but the Administration is so crappy and does anything they can to NOT help you; it’s just insane how they’re still in business. I just think that if anyone is reading this you should know that before you invest $40,000. I think for that amount of money you shouldn’t have to listen to your speech teacher telling you how to hustle car salesmen and how his kids do drugs or how he hates gay people – also, the man under the president told me (after the school randomly changed their attendance policy to ensure they collect more money from the state) that if he were my boss he would fire me because my car broke down while my parents were on a cruise and I couldn’t get to school for a few days…even though it was rude and pissed me off, it was funny because I have 2 jobs and both my bosses were understanding of the situation – and this school “prides itself” in flexible hours for working people. I could probably write about 5 pages of random unnecessary BS I have put up with from this school but I wont for the sake of readability. IF YOU’RE CONSIDERING ATTENDING THIS SCHOOL, DON’T (if you want to keep your sanity)…just go to a state school and save your money.

  • This is an excellent school. they offer several certifications for my career field which carry alot of weight in the workforce. that combined with the quality of education and training many of my classmates have been able to land good paying jobs within the 3rd term. well before they’ve even graduated.

the teachers are currently working in their field and know what is required from employers out in the real world. they are very helpful and explain things very well.

the courses are difficult to a point, but like any college with proper study and time its easy enough to get through classes.

This campus offers a few student organizations as well. National Technical Honor Society invites students who maintain a GPA of 3.5 or more to participate.

the campus is very clean and well maintained. While courses offered are pricey, they are just as expensive as other colleges. make sure before you decide to attend remington college you have your finances well maintained or will pay AFTER you graduate. as soon as you fall too far behind your payments, the school reserves the right to drop you. an unfortunate consequence and a rule that needs changing.

other than that please expect to maintain good attendance and work hard on this campus. in order to be successful you have to endeavor to be your best, this includes your education. you cannot expect to go to any school, slack off, and get anywhere later on.

i highly recommend remington college for the courses they teach. they offer a higher quality education than the local community college (TCC) in the degree fields they offer. if your goal is computer technician, come here. criminal justice? come here. digital graphics? come here.

you will be better off than anywhere else.
