  I am not one to leave random comments on websites, but I was offended by the other comment regarding Trident Tech. I am currently attending Trident and will graduate in two months. My time at the school has been great, and the majority of my professors have been extremely knowledgable and helpful. The fact is, this is college. There is nobody there to hold your hand and walk you through each and every step of the process. Unfortunately, once you become an adult, it is your own responsibility to ensure that you make things happen for yourself. The financial aid process if very quick and easy, but if you are asking someone for free money, take a little bit of initiative and complete the process rather than expecting someone else to do it for you.

  This college was horrible to deal with I applied for my financial aid 6 mo. before I planned on attending and they still managed to mess it up. In the end I ended up getting student loans that were disbursed so far into the future as to render them completly usless to me. I repeatedly had problems with the staff. The phones are not answered,e-mail is not replied to, questions are left unanswered. I must have been to the school a dozen times and called 50 times and I never achieved my modest goal of obtaining financial aid so I could attend. I would never go back! I would advise all students to avoid this school at all costs. I could not possibly have a more negative opinion of this school. I was even counseled by the staff in the end to attend classes without textbooks and to not pay 600 in remaing tuition costs. I really got the impression that the school was a holding pen for the undesireables of the community. In the end I found myself very gratefull that I did not attend, I think they saved me alot of grief.
