One student review of University of Advancing Technology

  • Graduated says:

UAT is a four year college for self-motivated learners. You should only come to UAT if you want to go into an engineering field. The art programs are money generators but completely worthless. Students that get degrees in computer science, network security, and robotics have gotten very well paying jobs. The school offers scholarships and grants (when I went I had 40% of my tuition paid for by the school). The school has direct connections with local companies like Insight, UHaul, Dell, and dozens more. The courses are open ended so you can learn as much or as little as you want. The professors are kind and knowledgeable. You’re required to live on campus for the first year which can be a strain for a transfer student. The extracurriculars are sparse but depending on the students starting clubs that does change. The admin staff was very helpful and caring.
