  Lane Community college is not a real education. I served my time there and found it useless, I was granted a degree which after 4 years of schooling made me an entire .25 cents an hour more than I was making before i went there. I changed my major 1/2 way through my education. The reason for my change was the fake education I was introduced to. I was in the automotive field and there were many times when the text would tell me to perform a certain function on a certain type of vehicle, and the instructors response was “We do not have a vehicle with that type of sensor.” They would then take my class packet and sign it off like I had done what was required for the class. To add insult to injury when i changed majors the so called counseling department did not bother to inform me that I would not have enough credits to left to complete the new course I had chosen, instead they allowed me to run my bill to the max allowed by Fasfa then without warning I was told I could no longer continue because I was out of the alloted amount of credits allowed. Thank you Lane Community College for a 5th grade education!

  It’s a community college….what more can you ask for. Great teachers and facilities, not much else going on. Not terribly boring, not super exciting, but you get more bang for your buck. Plus they admit really stupid kids.
