  The staff is indifferent and borderline incompetent; never return phone calls, always on break or at lunch, often lose important paperwork containing sensitive personal and financial information (enough information for and indentity thief to destroy ones credit), reluctant to help as they’re getting off in 5 minutes, no idea what form is needed for any given task. The instructors have what seems to amount to a bear minimum of experience, for example a computer technology instructor constantly giving information in lectures that is contrary to the course book and my 15 years real world IT experience, that is when not telling bad jokes or showing funny youtube videos for most of the 2 hour class. Distance education instructors with an expectation of students dedicating 40 hours a week minimum to their online course or the instructors that never give out a grade lower than a “C” to make themselves look good. Financial aid is never dispersed in a timely manner, 2 weeks into the semester and still waiting to begin classes when all paperwork was filled out early. Over all this is the bottom of the barrel, just like most services in Lake Havasu City, but as there are no other options for higher education within 50 miles their legacy of mediocrity will continue to go unchecked for many years to come.
