The students are mostly comprised of either A) The locals without money (who couldn’t afford to go elsewhere) who are just trying to get through, or B) Wealthy rednecks/farmers who thought sending their child to college was a good idea. Group A tends to be fine, as they don’t get involved or bother anyone. Group B on the other hand will attempt to be loud and obnoxious in order for you to know how drunk they are in class.
The vast majority of the professors tend to either take their job way too seriously at this mid/low level university, or not speak English.
If anyone were to ask me if I regret going to Texas Tech University, my response would be “every day of my life.”
