One student review of New Hampshire Institute of Art

  • Sean says:

Terrible school. Focuses way too much on painting rather than your major.

They actually believe people can go places by learning traditional ways of art rather than the new ways that are used in today’s world. They do touch on the newer ways but they do not teach it as extensively as they should.

Teachers are a hit and miss. When it comes to hands on things (painting, drawing, photo), the teachers are acceptable and don’t fall below that. However, when it comes to book study, the teachers are absolutely terrible.

There is nothing to do in the area and finding a job around here is near impossible.
