I was in the business program. I had a chance to put my knowledge to the test at the Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference and competition. I competed against hundreds of schools big and small. Not only did I place in the top 10 in every event in which I entered, including a national championship, every other student from Beckfield College that went with me placed in the top 10 and each of their events.
I cannot speak highly enough about my experience. I would definitely recommend beckfield college to anybody
op, ver your loans. The highest pay in that field is 40000 a year. That’s 19 an hour. That’s the highest paid. Go into nursing or engineering. We make 62 an hour. Tuition is the same, a little longer but the payoff is worth it
I
I graduated from Beckfield with a 3.8 GPA in 2005 and had the same problem. When I went back for nursing in 2006, it was VERY angering that NO ONE excepts Beckfield’s credits. They are “nationally accreditted” and everyone else is regionally accreditted… I mean I called everyone in the area including NKU, UC, Mt. St Joe, Cin State, etc. They all told me the same thing. I had to retake every single class that I passed with flying colors. Maybe I’ll call this attorney. I would love to be reimbursed for a big waste of time and a giant amount of money. If you want to just have a associates forever and never pursue anything else, yeah the school can place you in a job and you’ll be fine. But if want to further your education, sorry, start over. And I’d also like to point out that numerous times, the admissions counselor himself told me in 2003 that the credits transfer and that there must be a problem with whoever I spoke to at NKU. I think it’s scandalous and I had a very hard time accepting that my 2 years spent at that school were for nothing. Good luck, current students. If you don’t believe me, call around yourself. Whether you finish your program or not, it makes no difference (with the exception of RN because once you take the state boards you can move right into a BSN) For nursing, ADN to BSN never transfers credits. But that is the one exception. Too bad I was in the paralegal program.
