  CIDH was not a good school, students currently in the program feel the exact way as it has been describe. The dean didnt respect anyone, therefor she has no respect in return. People don’t deserve to be treated the way she communicates with them. Yes, students currently enrolled in the program at the time it had shut down were left with no answers. But its a good thing its shut down, students will never go thru wat other students went thru in that school. That school needed to be shut down for years.

  CIDH was an excellent school who produced top quality Hygieneists no questions asks. The level of education recieved was excellent. Former graduates should be positivly representing the school. A comment was made about being treated like “kindergardeners,” you where treated like Adults, when you did something wrong you where penalized just as you would be if you were working in the field. After reading your negitive comments on the way you where treated it sounds as if you WANTED to be treated as “Kindergardeners”. I will say it again the Hygienists who gradutated from CIDH are top quality and im sure you former graduates would agree that you are an excellent Hygienist. So stope the trash talking and stand up for the EDUCATION you recieved.

  Please, please dont tell me that “hello” is a member/instructor or has some business involvement with CIDH?
  If so, “HOMIES” ???????????
  I felt bad for the students who were left high and dry, now if the above is true then I am relieved that they are free from this institution.

  My guess is that enrollment for the August intake was very low. So many hygienists are now become much more saavy and researching what a difficult
  career hygienists has become due to oversupply of Dental Hygienists.
  According to the CDHA, only 8% plan to retire in the next 5 years.
  Please choose your profession wisely and do not invest in something that
  you will have little or no chance in finding a job.

  you people do realize that comments like “bitches” and “off with her head” go against ANY and all codes of conduct right…and that they could be constituted as “threatening”?

  I attended CIDH as well, I Agree with “S” and “UKNOWN” this school is money hungry! The faculty treat you like crap, they make you feel like your in a boot camp. The dean is rude and inconsiderate, has ZERO respect towards anyone and walks around like shes some queen. Theres mean numerous cases where shes told students: “You need angermanagemment classes”, “I made you fall into a deep hole, and you wont be able to get up”, “Your a disgrace to your parents” shes stated to a parent before “you do not know how to raise your child” and many more…She tells the students to act like “professionals” YET doesnt act like one herself. The next semester intake which is supposed to be in March hasnt yet been set a date as they do not have enough people enrolling in the program. I HIGHLY recommend you to NOT apply to this school and apply somewhere else! Once your in theres no way out because of all the money you have given AND there STUPID rules that they change! This school was my WORST experience ive ever come across! All of the faculty are there for there money too a select few are the ones that care and other are just there because they have to be. DO NOT APPLY HERE! Its not an enviroment that i would recommend anyone to be in that deans a B***H!

  i use to go to cidh and let me tell u “DONT GO THERE” that place is horrible if you are thinking of going there, please dont, your pretty much signing your life away to the devil and what “S” said up there she is absolutely right!!! that school is horrible the way they treat you they are so money hungry its so sad, i will say that there is some and i mean some like “5” good teachers who actually care about the students seriously and they dont even belong their at the school, they are such good teachers it sucks that the bad teachers make them look like they are the same when they are NOT!! and for cruella “Dean” Deville, i say “OFF WITH HER HEAD”….what makes this school even worse is probably cause its runned by all women, i mean nothin against women but the ones their its like they all the rotten apples got together and resigned at this school “yikes” and their all on menopause which is even worse its like sending fresh lambs to the wolfs….Massacre!!…..anyway i wouldnt recommend this school if you wanna stay healthy mentally and to not hit depression at an early age, what ever you do, run, RUN!!! find something else that is better take it from me and a billion of other girls…

  “S” is 100% accurate in her description of CIDH!! My daughter is currently enrolled there and totally regrets her decision to attend this school. The majority if not all of her classmates feel this way as well! But like “S” says, once they have your money they treat you the complete opposite of their “Philosophy” statement on their web site. Please do a lot of research and talk to as many former and current students as you can before considering attending here as I’m sure it will influence your decision to do so!

  I actually just filled out my application for this school and was going to write my exam on the 30th. I’m really disappointed to hear this review and I’m considering looking elsewhere. Does everyone in your class feel this way or is it only you?

  I’m currently 3 semester student in this damn college. I wish I never came to this college. I have already paid $40,000 but the education and support I receive from the school really doesn’t worth it. The dean, the program manager, the clinic coordinator and the administrative staff are really bitches. They don’t care about the students. Specially, the dean who is the business owner as well. Unfortunately, their attitude towards an educational environment is wrong as they consider the school mainly as a business rather than an academic school. I have not seen so far that they support the students. They are very rude with aggressive behaviour and treat the students as kindergarten kids. No wonder there are no ratings or reviews for this college. They are absolutely inconsistent with their program schedules and change the schedule instantly to make more money. Although, we all signed a contaract with them and we have been assigned clinic hours before signing our contract, but they change everything based on their “fine prints” in the contract without any notice or considering anybody elses condition. I just recommend if you want to be a dental hygienist please please please consider this school as your last option. There are so many dental hygiene school which I regret that I didn’t choose because I couldn’t find any review about this school to help me decide. They look so friendly when they want to attract you and give you promises, but after you signed the damn contract and paid $40K, everything will be totally different. Then you feel you have been cheated like what I feel now. And if you object them, they say you’d better find another school and leave here. The problem is you have wasted your time and money for nothing. Please be careful and don’t let them cheat you.
