The nightlife sucks unless you like going to the same party in the same frat house with the same people week after week after week after week..
Danville sucks too. It’s boring as hell, and the majority of it is out of walking distance. Bikes are not recommended, as the sidewalks look like they were ravaged by a major earthquake. Stop by the local Wal Mart after 10 p.m. for nightly townie truck rallies and a glimpse at the not-so-hidden redneck undertones of out precious little college town.
The student body is mostly white. I’d say about 80%. The rest are asian. I doubt there are more than 20 black people on campus, and I have yet to see a Latino.
Marijuana is prohibited. One violation earns you a year long suspension. No joke. (Bullshit right?)
Alcohol and tobacco are cheap and readily available.
Come here if you want to work your ass off and reap the financial rewards. If you want a more traditional college experience, stick with a state school.
