RUN! The staff is completely useless and 100% uninterested in you and your success, in fact, they are far more concerned about you knowing not to bother them. I was a master in the international illustration program, and my adviser Eva made it clear to me every time we met (once a whole once a month for 15 minutes) that she was NOT paid to meet with me, and that she would NOT respond to any emails outside of our once a month meetings. Which was, by the way, the only guidance you get on your masters project. There was no group critiques, no studio space, no storage on campus, and on top of that, our head of department, Johan Stuyck seem annoyed by the international masters class very existence. He has been the head of the program for years, but there was no organization to that program, he needs to be let go. This is not a university, it doesn’t even pretend to be beyond the interview. It is awful, don’t bother, and I already have 2 degrees that I am very satisfied with, and this “school” managed to make me furious. The amount of disrespect our whole international group had to deal with is truly unbelievable. Eva, Inge, Judith and Johan Stuyck should be fired, but the school is so worthless that they won’t look into, or even listen to countless student complaints. Seriously, they failed ALL of the international students last year, and a third this year. They don’t care about anything except for having a cushy job where they force students to pay them homage. Don’t go, do yourself the biggest favor of your life.
