I am currently a freshman on campus, in my second semester. Everything has been going great! Hoboken is so amazing, I plan on living here when I graduate! I chose to do the Cooperative Education Program, which provides one of the best job opportunities offered at Stevens. It is so much more than just an internship! I am also pledging a fraternity. The Greek-life on campus adds such an extra level of opportunity as well. Not only will you graduate a very successful, prepared, and experienced engineer, you have the opportunity to become a member of Greek-life and get “the full college experience.” Stevens offers a wonderful music program, from drama’s to chorus to bands, they have it all. There is also a major called “music-technology” which may be worth checking out (IT HAS A GREAT REPUTATION- and the facilities and faculty are great!) My major is Naval Engineering, though I came in as Engineering Undecided, which made up nearly one third of new students at the time, I was readily made aware of all my options, and fell in love with the Naval program. I would recommend Stevens to anyone, its reputation is phenomenal, and in the professional world, employers love to hire Stevens graduates.
I have been going to Stevens for 1 year now. I am taking graduate classes. The professors are great; plenty of personal experiences are implemented into their teaching. The faculty staff is great and assists you along the way. I recommend this college to anyone.
