The breakdown on the site cannot fit this school.
There is a VAST difference between students arriving here as transfers ( vs. continuing), and a VAST difference between Colleges(6- which determine your General Ed. curriculum); and difference between Majors. Each of those impact outcome(s) differently, – and to generalize would be VERY misleading.
LaJolla – SD has the highest stolen sports bikes in the U.S.; high also is petty thefts, and car thefts, and car break-ins. There are no street lights in the this area.
The faculty and Advisers operate on the myth that entering students can ‘choose’ their ‘college’ (which deals with General Ed); try to read their Catalog, and make a wise choice (the info. ain’t there); this campus’ unique system of colleges sucks big-time. Some schools require a year more of courses, some require History, some allow ‘dual-major’ as a substitute for a good ‘general education.’ So: be very aware. Transfer students MUST complete all the ‘Gen ED.’ of the school they are departing from, or the ‘Reciprocity deal’ is off. Even ‘inter-UC’ transfers are a dumb idea, esp. for Jacob’s Engineering.

What the first guy said. And how can you call yourself a “university” when you don’t even have a football team?
