Loved my time here. It was an academically stimulating four years that prepared me for my next step (in this case, grad school). The campus is nicely situated right next to the border, riverside and downtown Windsor. The school is also undergoing an extensive expansion phase. Lots of new buildings, including a downtown campus.

UWindsor isn’t perfect by any means, but if you’re actually looking to get educated and save money in a city with a lower standard of living, this is a great place to start.

I have only been here for about a few months now but I have a general idea of how my time will be there for the next four years. I am a business student at Odette and I came to Windsor mainly because of the lively, small campus and the tuition was relatively less expensive than other schools. Most expenses are cheap in Windsor (food, drinks, transportation, etc.) and the majority of Professors here are friendly. However, I would like inform everyone that just because the university has a high acceptance rate, that your first year will be absolutely insane. UWindsor is often cited as a school that’s “easy to get in and hard to stay in” and that’s definitely true. A degree at UWindsor must be earned. Take that as you will when making your decision as at least 20 people I was acquainted with have dropped out before first semester even finished. Still a great place to be and an amazing place to meet new people. UWindsor is a good balance between academics, community and “off-campus” fun.

I loved this school it was the best 4 years of my life. the kinesiology department was incredible in teaching and hands on experience. I found my path while at windsor! made the best frineds of my life. the city is fairly cheap for housing, food, drinks and cabs. the teachers were amazing and all very willing to help. class sizes were better than other universities b/c were a small school but your first 2 years you basically a number like any other university 1 prof to 200 students. they just revamped everything too so it looks great and is WAY more functional then my first year. go lancers!
    Overall Score: (4.18/5.00)
