So sad to hear this comments. It used to be a good school and helped me with job placement by the time I graduated in 2000. Medical Assistant Program. Still today I work as head of MA and I love my job.
I don’t like Branford Hall Institute they promise a lot of things as soon you sign for start everything is different, a bunch of liars, they change the administrative staff every week, the teachers are very incompetent…The still your money…I try a put a complaint at the corporation and call the financial aid to stop this circle…at the end if nobody do nothing I going a find a lawyer because I waste my money and my time in that school…

This is by far the worst school in the world if you can find anywhere else to attend do so. The administration never knows whats going on all you ever get is kickback from them when trying to figure out internships or graduation. I would not recommend this school to my worst enemy Your better off buying books and studying on your free time. I think the only good thing about this school is the fact that I can use the time I attended as experience. The overall experience is a joke I thought I was attending a career institute not a clown college.This is a full profit school they dont care about updating anything the computers are still running windows XP. !!!!!!!Dont do it !!!!!!
I hate this school..They stink..Wish I could have not filled out the application form..! I will report them if I find out they are going to make me pay a penny for only going to one class and sent me to the wrong class to begin with… not worth it!!!
Don’t ever give them your phone number. They will call you back to back 10x a day, its the most frustrating thing. I was going to try them out but after reading all the horrible reviews no thank you. They already seem very pushy with their harassing phone calls. You would think that if you called someone and they didn’t pick up that they maybe are not near their phone. Or if they leave a message and you don’t get back to them that would give them that you aren’t interested.

This is a good school. I am about to go on my extern. We have a new director who is very good and will help the school do good things I must not have had some of those teachers because I learned a lot and glad I came here.
This place is the absolute worse I would never recommend this school to anyone. They lied and told me credits transfer to get me in there and I was told being backed up on my tuition wouldnt effect anything but one week before I was supposed to go out if extern they kicked me out no warning or anything. They don’t care about their students and it is the most unprofessional setting. They dont work with you at all. All they care about is money and its worse than going to high school. I have no regrets in life but this is the ultimate regret.
This school is a joke. I attended this school in 2005 and the staff did not care about you, the director was a short, rude, fat man that only cared about the money. Its like attending high school, I was ready to quit until one of my instructors talked me out of it. The person who I faxed my externship hours to claimed that she wasn’t getting my hours sent every week, thank God I saved the receipt of the faxes so she can see that I was doing my part and it was her that failed to do her part. She threatened to kick me out of the program over it. After I graduated which I hated the school so much that I chose not to attend graduation, the waited a whole year and then contact me about a job. I would not recommend this school to anyone not even my worse enemy. Never attend the Windsor Campus

The state did not help me pay for the schooling I paid for. I paid the total amount and I feel as if I went to a restaurant and ordered and paid for a steak, and then find out that I ate roadkill.
Have to say there are much better schools. This one cares about $$$ more than students. Their tuition may be lower, but they don’t care about students. The Company is owned by Premier Education Group. They don’t treat their employees well. Never mind their students. If you want a real career, this is not the place. They don’t ensure that you will be able to complete the program and job placement is a lot lower. Before you enroll or pay a registration fee, check out a few different schools.
I regret coming to this school. Pretty much all of these reviews are true. The director is a tuition hound and will deny you access to your classes if your payments are late. The teachers are inexperienced and hardly know the material they’re supposed to be teaching. Almost every class is a waste of time. You will pass because they want you to, not because you studied or know the material. Also, there is no standardized material that’s supposed to be covered. There is a vague syllabus the teachers are given and from that they are told to teach you. Grades are subjective because there is no standardized grading. Teachers can really just give you whatever they want, usually because the assignment is so vague to begin with that you can’t dispute it. There is a strict dress code that teachers are not required to follow. The school also uses the massage students for events in and out of the school without your notice.
ALSO, for a school that is so obsessed with collecting your tuition they do not supply you with enough materials. The lamps NEVER have bulbs. The sheets have bugs in them.
I went into this knowing that this school was going to be flawed but hoping I was going to get the information I needed to be successful as a Licensed Massage Therapist. I don’t feel that way now. I feel like this is a huge waste of money and time.
If you’re serious about being a Massage Therapist, find a different place to teach you the things you need to know to protect yourself and your clients.
As being a current student of the Computer Networking Management program and being so close to externship (April) i must say, to all the people who have not had the displeasure of attending this school, PLEASE DO NOT! The commercials are a con and a huge lie, the admissions do not give one s**t about you whatsoever. You come in, sign your life away, and boom thats it, the friendlyness you once knew about that person is gone. Granted two and yes only TWO of my instructors go above and beyond to teach us about our field and those TWO are the only ones that actually give a s**t. If you want a good stable job and a steady working future, please look elsewhere, this school needs to be closed down like the trash dump it is. I end this now with the words of truth from many on here and other sites. “Branford Hall does not give two shits if you pass or are successful, all they care about is when,how and where they can reach into your wallet and take your hard earned money.”
I attend Branford Hall in Windsor Connecticut. I can honestly say this school is a sham. The institute stole my money, I know because I was called in his office and harassed about payments that were not logged in. Thank goodness I saved all my receipts and called me a liar. only care about money.
Also I attend the night course if you were interested.
Only had three instructors that actually cared about my career and my education and were really supportive and one of the best career development admin who was really involved with the student (who the director fired for no apparent reason that is believed to be based on money). The director does not care about the students,does not interact nor respects the students. I like to go around and greet all the instructors and those who work at the instute and he is the only one that does not respond and only talks to me when his documentations are false. Again, if you do decide to attend make sure you document every penny! They are theives and can honestly say they only care about MONEY.
If you try to talk to someone about going to corporate and make a complaint they will all deny you.
Oh and by the way this director goes around posting everyones financial records on the walls and walks into the class and talks about your financial aid infront of everyone, which by the way is breach of privacy. The reason why I put down three stars for QOP was I only had three instructors that cared and wanted me to succeed.
Oh and the teacher/student ratio is amazing because by the time you enter your second mod half the class dropped out or got kicked out by the director because they gave him attitude and were “not right for the school”. Then by the begining of your third your the only one in the class and told you have to wait twelve weeks in order to continue with your education.

I am writing a second review because I am annoyed at the fact that all the staff are afraid of the director because he seems to just fire everyone that confronts him or asks him questions.
They made it impossible to get in contact with his higher up and he refuses to give me any information.
I am trying to figure out why he stated I wont get my tax forms (which I have yet to recieve) and told me that he has every right to post the private information of the students that have financial problems. It sickens me to walk by and see othere students information posted on the walls of the school.
Through the grape vine I have been told that corporate supports his authoritarian style of dictating. been getting in contact with fasfa and the state so they will be forced to do in internal investigation and someone regain the title and respect of on institute.
Just to let students know, some teachers do care that taught at Branford Hall located in Windsor, CT. Administration does lie to the students, faculty, and themselves.
I like how administration (corporate) wanted faculty to change their resume or CV and lie on it. They even went so far as to change faculty original applications, so they would pass with accreditation (ABHES) to be exact.
They also get the students that should never attend the school, and string them along making the learning environment an absolute zoo.
Administration also doesn’t back its faculty and forces faculty to change grades so students can pass, nothing like sticking to their own policies.
I’m glad I left, what a bunch of losers…….
I went to Branford in Springfield. The teachers are fat and LAzy, and do what they have to do like give tests without teaching the materal first save youre money dont go to Scamford Hall.

As a curernt student, I would in NO way reccomend this school to anyone interested in furthering thier education. The administraion is unorganized, unprofessional, and rude.All they care about is money. The only redeeming quality to this institution is the teachers, they actually care about education.
I attended Branford hall located at Bohemia, I was not one of those students, but one of the best!!! I completed the HVAC/R
class with pride… I had the best grade in school, cause I believed in all the promises that were made to me… I had 10 A’s and
2 B+. I made it to the president list and the president’s club… My attendance was also perfect… Out of 1200 hours, I only missed 2
Cause I was sick that day and had to go to the ER… I even participated in one of their commercial on MTV’s… I feel obligated to tell you that much about
Me so you don’t think I’m making that up!!!! Now that I completed the program, I get stuck with an $18000 loan with no hope on how I’m gonna pay it off…
I’m actually working at a Walmart store, changing tires and do oil change for $9.40c. Humiliating!!!!

I am currently in this school now (albany) sucks.. So boring it feels like were not learning anything.. They have this fake student appreciation day where they gave us free ice cream and nasty lunch, thats just a cover up, seriously everyone is a******s i feel like we are in grade school again.. No cell phone, no sleeping all this BS but the teacher can excuse the class to be quiet while she talks on the cell.. Their are windows in every class so we can be watched like a bunch of zoo animals.
I am ready to drop out its only been 3 weeks i feel like what were learning isnt enough to get a job that pays as much as they say.. Id much rather change my career choice.
What can I say? It’s all been said. If you enroll in this school you will regret it. All I can say is “run”!

I went to the school in Springfield, Ma and I am sad to hear all of these complaints from so many people. I too saw the same thing and went thew the same, I had a 3.75GPA (MA program) from Mods, B, C, D, F, they told me constantly that “You do not have to worry, nothing from Mod A are on our final exam”. I never went to Mod A, they tossed me straight into B and at the end of Mod F I learned that I had to know stuff from Mod A… ontop of that, other students would have problems and miss a few days, and some would drop out because they missed a few days due to personal problems and they could never make-up 100% of the work. And even when some did make-up the work, it was counted as “late” so it was automatically marked 50% off the grade. Never in my life have I heard of a grading system so slanted. And what is funny is PEG tries to milk money out of their clients once they graduate, sometimes (heard similar stories) saying “we cannot accept any payment lower than _____”, By law they cannot do such a thing, they *must* accept any payments you make them. During my time duration there, I felt like I was in some broke down, ghetto babysitting program, even some teachers would tell us they are forced to pass us. And some teachers could not even speak fluently enough to get half the class’s attention. I worked hard in class and stayed up late almost every night to earn my grade, I dropped out at the end because I honestly felt that I did not know enough to even go into the work world for what I aimed for. And I know my next comment may be a bit low but I would rather go give sperm to a sperm bank and make a living off the money they pay me, than to even go back to that school even if it was free, re-staffed, and updated. If you’re reading this do yourself a favor and go to a real school that doesn’t have it’s eyes set on your wallet.
This place is a joke! I’m embarrassed to say I attended. I went for my paralegal certification. I have no proof that I am even certified. They say that you will get transferable credits, u don’t get those either. It’s not an accredited school. It sucks. The staff sucks. They are very unprofessional, classless, rude, & they need to go back to school as well. It’s really sad. When I started my new job, right out of school, I knew nothing! It was like I never went to school. It’s a joke. Go somewhere else. It’s a waste of time & money.
Wow, all this time I put into attending this school was just a waste! If I could give this place no stars, I would. Although I finally came to the realization that this school has no quality for education but sure is good at suckering you into attending, I wish this all have darned on me much earlier (would have saved time and money). Not only do you feel like you’re in grade school, the staff themselves do not have a clue. Currently, I’m looking into transferring over to DeVry University (Chicago). If things go well over that end, I will continue my education there. I’m looking for a great education, not just a school!
What a HOLE! Do yourself a favor and go to a REAL school that cares about your education not just the money you’ll be forking over to them. Horrible experience, I don’t have the education I was promised and paid for, the knowledge I need to pursue my career choice in confidence and their extern job placement…..it’s up to YOU to find a place to do your externship at.
Admin has constant turnover so if you have an issue with the promises that were lied about, you can’t see the person that made them and hold them accountable. The shills for this place are on the incentive plan so they lie their azzes off to get you in and get their money then they’re gone.
The most regrettable waste of time I hope I’ll ever encounter. I regret ever going there and now I have federal loans to pay back on it. The cops were called several times for theft and destruction of property [cars getting keyed and smashed], sexual assaults filed. It was complete nonsense. I graduated 4.0 and they were completely uncooperative with job placement or credit transfer. The school director was completely rude and constantly hounding everyone about money and payments during classes. This school should be shut down. During the winter they contacted the students and told them the school would be open on a particular snow day and I drove there to find out they had closed. Other students were there upset. When I left the weather was so bad that I got in a car accident and they claimed absolutely no responsibility. Awful, awful place of business. PLEASE do NOT go there.
I also worked for Branford Hall and would not recommend it to anyone. From what I have heard their Windsor campus is actually preferable to the others, so beware. I worked in Massachusetts and many of the teachers were not even accredited. When the Board of Education would pop in for a visit, I saw them literally hide the unaccredited teachers and replace them with ones who the state approved. Yes many instructors read out of books, but there were at least a few good ones trying to hang in there because they actually cared about the students. They were under constant pressure by the corporate management, which is the real issue with this chain of schools. I too quit after a few months. During my time there I saw members of staff also scam and in one case sexually abuse students and were not let go by admin. I saw students never show up for classes and still passed along with other students who studied and put the time in. I saw fistfights, thefts and other crime inside the actual school. My advice is to contact the Board of Education and tell them your experience. That is how to make this all stop and have some of your money refunded.
I wish there was a no star quality cause thats how bad this school sucks. Please dont go to this school it is horrible. When im here i feel like im in kindergarten they have people patrolling the halls to make sure we dont leave 10 min early and if we leave thats a atomatic 1hr lost what kind of s**t is that. There will be days that we dont have a teacher or get “forgot about” they tell us we cant leave cause were paying them for 4hrs so they tell us we need to play board games are u serious im not paying $8,000 to play board games im paying u to learn, and when we do have a teacher thats if you want to call them a teacher they dont even know what there teaching us. If the state knew about what goes on in this hell hole they would close it down in a heartbeat!!!!!!!

What a waste of time and money. We’re doing a full semester of classwork in just 5 weeks! Gawd forbid you get sick of have a personal issue and you need a day or two to attend to it, you’ll put yourself so far in a hole you’ll have a hard time digging your way out. Info get’s jammed in your ears and there’s no time to digest and LEARN what it is they are saying, just isn’t time. Instructors say they have so much material they are required to cover and they do…on the students backs. Weekends off? Forget it, go away for a weekend without your books, I don’t think so. Admin doesn’t tell you the amount of work that there is, they deflect the question and lie. I’m sooo sorry I enrolled here (Windsor) and I just have to believe they all are probably just as bad.
I an an ex-employee of Branford Hall. No, I was not fired, I resigned after a few short months of realizing the type of organization this really was. The one thing I know is your clients (students) will be treated the same way you (the employee) is treated. Not a place you want to work or study at.
This business is exactly the type of school that gives “for-profit” schools a bad name. It’s all about the money, and the student is the LAST priority.
There are great for-profit schools out there, but Branford Hall is NOT one of them so beware.
You are best to stick with ITT Tech, Devry or Post University. No school is perfect, but you’ll get a quality education.

I can also say, as a former employee myself this isn’t just Windsor or Southington IT’s all their campuses, Branford Hall, Harris School of Business, Seacoast, Salter School. They all work out the same play book. The good news is, the company is going down and going down fast. I feel bad for the people about to find out exactly how much their hard work for Premier Education is appreciated. While I am at it the Dept of Ed of each state they operate in should be investigation their frauds, lies and falsifying of placement rates and financial aid.
I used to be a DOE at one of the schools. I worked under a total loser, R. Greene. He was such a scum bag and his head was so far up the VP Paul Fierre’s Ass. Place is COMPLETELY unprofessional. Only good thing about it is Jane Parker. She should run that company. The good ol’ boys need to be spat on..yes, you Gary Camp…scum.

Yep, they lie, lie, lie they’re asses off at at Branford. I was told my credits would be transferable. THEY ARE NOT. No where in the world accepts Branford Halls certificate as actual college credits. Literally, my wife was in the room when they said I there shouldn’t be a problem to transfer credits anywhere. LIE. NO WHERE. They try to tell students that Springfield University accepts the certificate as an associates. Sucks if you are a Paralegal, because they don’t have a paralegal program. This school is founded by liars, and sold by liars. Stay far, far away. I will say there are a few good teachers there who don’t read straight from the book and are good teachers.

The teachers are just as much in the mix up as the students, who ever you are thats reading this you can go get a job and teach at braford hall. It is crazy. There is no great demand for Medical Assistants. They lie and sucker you in. They should be sued! Teachers read out of the books and can barely pronounce the words themselves. It is B.S. If you pay 15 grand you should get qualified teachers. They lowered the bar. If I have 2 years experience I could teach. I think thats crazy!!!!! If there was an option to not give even a star then I would give 0!!!!!

I would never recommend this school to anyone. Your money would be better spent elsewhere where you will receive better education with better teachers. Half of the time I thought I was in high school again. The administration staff lies and will tell you what you want to hear to get you to enroll. My entire class was told we’d be making way more money when we graduate then what we will be.
