One Student Review of Galen College of Nursing: Cincinnati

    I was a student at Galen College of Nursing in Cincinnati Ohio. I was in nursing 170 I knew that this would be one of the toughest quarters. I did well on my first lecture test 84% and I thought things were going well in clinical with an instructor that I had great respect for. As the quarter went on I felt like something was going wrong and questioned my clinical instructor about it. She informed me that everything was OK. The rest of the quarter I continued to feel that something was not right. on the last day of clinical I was informed that she felt I would not make it through the program. She said she was reluctant to allow me to pass clinical. I had been told the whole quarter that I was doing O.K. To make a long story short I failed the quarter and have not been back to school. I am not saying that anything the school did caused me to fail I was the one who didn’t pass the class. I will say that Galen and the instructors did little to provide me with the feedback I required to succeed. I want to tell anyone that I think that it is unwise to attend Galen college of Nursing in Cincinnati Ohio.
