I have been a student in 2017, I really loved the overall experience and the school in general.
I don’t understand why they call it ESE when is completely another school.
The staff is good and teachers are really qualified and available with students.
Environment is luxury but welcoming.
My dream business school legacy has been my number one choice since i fall in love with the high standard of teaching and learning enviroment .
Please how many legacy business school is there in NEW YORK , because i recived addmission letter from the with the payment of 18,000 USD into the school account.
Because i have been reciving calls to pay the outstanding money…..
I don’t even know where to begin. This place can’t get their priorities straight. Admin can’t stop going on and on about their “amazing” location in Trump Tower and posting photos all the time. Trust me, you won’t be seeing much of that place. They’ll take you there for Orientation, and after that they pack you off to a salubrious building near Times Square, which is where their shady partner school is (watch out for the mentally ill and drunken homeless men constantly hanging outside entrance). The power goes out, the heating’s goes down during winter – um, hello ??? there was an ARTIC POLAR VORTEX this year.
Either the heating was broken or they’re having trouble with their bills, which would not surprise me. Alessandro Nomellini, the CFO of the school and avid partier thinks its more important to take the STUDENTS’ MONEY and organise a 175,000$ gala to raise funds for the school or take students out in limousines to clubs. No money was raised at the gala, but at least they took lots of fancy pictures they can show off.
Even Buckingham University, the school that gave this place any credibility in the eyes of UK educational board terminated their contract with the school in Nov 2014. They no longer monitor and credit ESE courses. Don’t let them tell you otherwise.
Also, Admin can’t stop spewing stuff about being able to get you internships at Fortune500 companies and what not, because they are soooo well connected. BS, you’re on your own if you wanna get an internship in those sort of companies.
Regarding professors, the most important element of academics: they’re quite good, thankfully. Out of the 5 or 6 there are, 2 are foul lecturers.
I know going to NYC seems like a very good idea and that’ll it be a lot of fun – and it will. But when you walk in ESE you WILL feel cheated. This place is not what it claims to be. Of course it’s up to you to study and be successful too, but no matter how you look at it ESE NY by no means meets the requirements for an academic institution of higher education. There a much, much better options out there if you want to live in NYC AND feel like you are getting the education and academic/pastoral attention you pay for.
Now they’re calling it the International School of New York. Here’s their fancy new site http://isny.org/. Don’t fall for it.
Hey Big Apple,
can you tell us the unique guest speakers hosted at the European School of Economics in New York?
You maybe meant the Neapolitan President and owner of the European School of Economics, Mr. Elio D’Anna? Wow, what a luck!
Everybody can visit the NASDAQ by paying the ticket. Not a big deal. I’m not surprised that an MBA student at the European School of Economics is offered a $15 ticket after having paid $80,000 in tuition fee for attending your “School”.
When you study for your MBA at the European School of Economics and in general when you go to graduate school, it’s your responsibility to study and ESE offer you so many additional services like unique guests speakers that no other school can offer. You can meet people that can change your life. With the school you also have the opportunity to visit NASDAQ and the NYSE and many more which are incredible learning experience.
If you have a lot of money, free time and you are already well educated, consider this school as an interesting option to have some fun in life before starting to work (hard). You will mainly meet some rich (and mostly lazy) dude (but not necessarily smart) from Russia, Serbia and Italy. You will have tons of parties in exclusive clubs and if you’re lucky enough you might even be able to shake Donald Trump’s hand (the European School of Economics offices to meet the school’s representatives are located in the Trump Tower where Donald Trump has his own office).
On top of this – you will also have classes – but at the end of the course you will be awarded the title of “jet setter” while your (parents’) wallet will be much lighter than in the beginning. I’m not saying this is not a good option, but I’m just advising (in my opinion) on what you are going to find at the European School of Economics in New York. This is at least my experience which stands very far from what I consider a reputable education like the one I had during my college years (and before Ese).
With this in mind, I liked the Big Apple together with nice friends but this is not the first thing (at least for me) you go looking for, when attending such an expensive School with your heart full of good expectations.
