I’m in week 10 of a course and they still haven’t sorted out the “technical issues” unacceptable from a school of media and technology. The school should be embarrassed.
I could not believe about the international service at Seneca York campus. There was a lady kept talking to her co worker. She NEVER KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HER JOBS OR RELATING TO INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS CARE. I think she should quit that job. I don’t wanna pay money for that kind of person. I asked her something about international student and she said she have no idea. She does not know. That’s her response. It never helps me to solve any problems that I have. Never come back!
If you go here, you know da way… Of wasting precious time and money.
DONT GO HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR MENTAL HEALTH, program coordinators only care about cash, many profs are unprofessional and often late. I pretty much fell into depression attending here.
Hi,
I’m interested in taking Interactive Media Design Diploma course from Seneca@York.
I would like to know more about the professors and studies.
Please respond to [email protected]
Thanks.
THE GOOD
I’m a recent grad of the CNS (Computer Networking and Technical Support) program. The Computer Studies programs along with the Sciences and media/radio/television/event and media are all top notch. Even though this is a college, the programs mentioned can be intensive and take up much of your time – especially the Computer Studies and Science programs. Professors really test your knowledge and understanding…there is no substitute for studying at this College.
THE BAD
It’s difficult if not impossible to make lasting friends or meet an attractive woman here. The odds are about 1 in 1,000. If you’re in a relationship and have a social circle outside of college, then choose this school for its academics, academic honesty policy and well-informed personable Professors. If you want a party school – this isn’t it. In the end it’ll be about building your credentials and becoming marketable to employers after you graduate.
I’m in the CPA program at the @York campus. This school is okay. It’s much more challenging than the other college I studied programming at before transferring here. Hopefully that translates into a more respected diploma. But it’s incredibly boring. No student life, no excitement anywhere, very dry professors, etc. I used to be in a good mood going to school, I had profs that made even SQL interesting! But here… well, not too much longer to go at least!
I agree with most of the comments. Seneca is a horrible school with a horrible reputation. I made the massive mistake of taking TV broadcasting 6 years ago at the york campus. First off, the co ordinator was a lazy overpaid jerk who favoured certain students. A couple of the “teachers” were more interested in screwing the female students than teaching. The actual program was a joke too. Horrible courses that taught nothing. Seneca is about money. Stay away for your own good. Please!
