2 Student Reviews of University of North Carolina: Wilmington

  • UNC-Wilmington is one heck of a school! Lots of parties, great location next to Wrightsville Beach, and near downtown Wilmington, and a lot of opportunities to have fun with some gorgeous women on campus and around the city. Wilmington is a beach town, so you KNOW we have fun in the summer and beyond, and it’s a great place to be if you are looking for a good time on campus and in the city.

The party life is to die for, and Wilmington is definitely a fun place to be when it comes to parties and events, with Greek like all weekend long every weekend, and a great deal other things going down throughout the week to make it all work.

That’s not it, though, UNC Wilmington also does provide a solid class structure and pretty good classes and on-campus extracurricular activities across the board, too. You can get everything you want out of UNC-Wilmington, and they have really good marine biology and animal husbandry programs for any budding zoologist.

There are other solid programs and UNC Wilmington, too, including English and some others that make it a very solid school for the state of North Carolina. Plus, it is an in-state public educational institution, which means that it provides great in state tuition rates for students who are from North Carolina, making their college experience extremely cheap and affordable as far as being able to continue long into their college careers and not be saddled with debt in life.

As far as affordability goes, UNC Wilmington is a pretty affordable area and fun city, and you can do most anything on a college student’s budget there. The area around campus is safe and fun, and you can find everything that you are looking for throughout the city, from party time to important stuff in a large city like Wilmington.

UNC-W has a good teacher to student ratio, and the faculties are genuinely impressed and available to help. This makes school a great deal easier, and it feels like the support system and administrators there really do look out for the students. In all, UNC Wilmington is one heck of a place to go to school, and I am proud in having called it my school, and now, my alma mater!

I recommend UNC Wilmington to anybody who is in state and looking for great public education, or for anyone out of state who is looking for a reliable and solid education at a wonderful school that can give them everything they need. Plus, they have great soccer and baseball teams, in addition to men’s and women’s basketball, which means that they can provide great ties for school spirit and fun as you are between classes and parties on and off campus.

Enjoy your time as you go through UNCW, because it is sure to fly quickly and be over before you even realize that it’s time to graduate and move on with your life!
