7 Student Reviews of Golf Academy of America : Phoenix

  • The absolute worst decision I ever made in my life went back to the exact same bag room job I left after leaving to seek greener pastures. You only get 2 free rounds a week which is pathetic for a 30,000 tuition supposedly dedicated to golf. Was very amusing to say “Jesus I can’t wait til schools over so I can actually play golf a decent amount again”. Instructors are mostly jokes, a good reason why they are working at non a non accredited school in a strip mall. Please don’t go, I would say do ANYTHING else aside from selling hard drugs.

  • This school is a fantastic opportunity & is like everything else in life it is what you make it the sky is the limit…

People who rag this school are people who put little effort forth to make things happen

    Overall Score: (4.45/5.00)
  • I recently left the Golf Academy and I have to agree with everything that instructor said. I did not feel right working there because in all honesty you can’t get a good job with an AA from this school. If you call around to other colleges they will tell you they don’t accept their credits.35k for an Associates that you more than likely will only find a job for 8-10 an hour. If you are one of the lucky few who networked you might be able to get 11/hour. This is def not a school for a family man, but more for an 18 year old with no obligations and doesn’t care too much with how much they make afterwards. 90% of the students are on drugs or hungover, we even had a student hang himself. It’s impossible for a student to not pass this school since they really work to pass every student because that’s how they earn their $. My suggestion is to get to a 4 year university or if you really want a career in golf, work your way up at the golf course or look into the PGA program

  • Worse decision I ever made.

  • This school is a total joke no real help placing students with jobs no real education is given to students you just get passed along because you are just viewed as a pay check most students work in outside service jobs after graduation whitch they could have gotten with out spending the 28 grand on admission and dispite what they may tell you ur credits will not transfer to any schoot other than Virginia college…

    Overall Score: (1.81/5.00)
  • Please email me before going to this scam school. I was employed with them as a PGA instructor and after finding out the scam I could not live with the absolutely immoral theft this foreign owned corporation is perpetrating on the unaware. For $30,000 please go to an accredited school because this ACICS accreditation is junk and is not regionally accredited. The courses will not transfer to a legitimate school. Their job placement is a scam as well. If a graduate is employed at McDonald’s it counts toward their placement statistics. I have nothing against the other professional who work there, I know they need the employment but the ECA organization is doing people wrong and I am trying to save some from it. Also parents, beware of the fact that many student there do partake in drugs and alcohol so consider that influence on your son or daughter a certainty.
Please email me at [email protected] for more information
