Faculty is useless, many professors are ill-mannered, will treat you like street dogs,
Hostile environment, students behave thugs
Very narrow-minded people
You will never grow up as a person there
They’ll fine you for every minute thing
Placement is actually bought
All bad reviews about KiiT are never exposed because the media is bought even the police
College won’t do anything if you’re bullied
Seniors behave as if they are really a somebody, too much of ego
boys who want entertainment in their graduation times please do come and take admission here. Its situated in one of the most rapidly growing city of the world. KIIT infrastructure is only due to the money they suck out of parents. Many students are there who came here from lower middle class families, now ruined their career and their parent’s aspirations. the surrouding is good. but not the people living out there. As a whole, odia people are meant for selfishness. They do favour you only if they need you in the future.
Leaving this behind, i want to point out major problems a student face while choosing a college:
1. Good teaching staff unlike comedians or hitler
2. Ideal environment unlike parks
3. Sound management which take actions immediately
4. A better placement scoring college.
in my opinion kiit have nothing to really present in it except the number 2, my kind request to those parents who are reading this review, erase kiit from your mind if you want your kid not to become a smoker, drunkard or a gambler. This college is only a good basis for those students who really wanna achieve a life after education not to get a lifepartner. haha

KIIT University, formerly Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, is a co-educational, autonomous university located at Bhubaneswar in the Indian state of Odisha. It was one of the youngest institutions to be awarded the deemed university status in India and then the university status in 2004 and is recognised by Limca Book of Records.[1] The University offers under-graduate and post-graduate courses in Engineering, Bio-technology, Medicine, Management, Law, Computer application, Rural management, Fashion, Film Studies, Journalism and Sculpturing.KIIT college of engineering has been ranked 5th amongst private engineering colleges in India by THE PIONEER in 2012 and Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), a constituent of KIIT University, features among top 30 medical colleges of the country, according to a survey by Mumbai-based Mainline Media, THE PIONEER. It has been ranked 18 th among private engineering institutes and 7 th in placement in 2008 by Outlook India.[2][3] Tata Consultancy Services has recruited 708 students from KIIT University in 2011. This is a record of sorts- most number of students absorbed by a single company through campus recruitment in Odisha. KIIT School of Management has been nominated as the mentor institution by AICTE for conducting faculty development programme in eastern India. [4]
here are the details
teaching quality – very very poor extremely poor
infrastructure – not enough if you take in account the no. of students
studying here, and don’t believe in the prospectus or website.
placement – only it companies come here so after paying 10 lacs for your education you will get a job of 20000 per month, some students get better (only due to there own talent) but nearly 20% of the batch is always unplaced.
(they hide it with dual placement stats)
dual placements are always use less because you won’t be a able to work in both the companies at the same time.
management – well there is no management they are a bunch of dictators, violent scenes of revolt are quite common in the university which are suppressed by providing false info to the parents and imposing heavy and unjustified fines on the students.
beside all this cons the only pro is even if never managed to get decent marks in your school life you can get good marks here without much effort (as the syllabus and exam system is designed mainly for students coming from management quota or bribe quota as they form the majority of students here)
so my judgment would be that if you think you can’t pass engineering from any other college and have enough money to waste come here else please join some other decent college.

KIIT University is very bad because in MCA there is only 60% placement and only for those who have above 60% and no more than 2 year gap in his academics…
If you have below this criteria then must you have not to join this university because you lost 7 lac without getting any thing in last….
It is fine if u take any other university that provide MCA or btech with less ammount…
GOOD lUCK…. this is from MCA student of KIIT university 2011 batch, 83% in MCA but not getting job because having such low academics… and some bad luck with 3 companies…
If u have good academics then u get only 6-7 companies…. only…. and after that they only told u companies are land up…. but no company visit… after december 2 companies visit Enlivin soft with 1.8 Lac package and other one with 6 thousand per mont….
But is the last who get placement when going to join they said your university cancel this selection…
